Swinemunde is located on 44 islands. The city of Swinemunde itself consists of three islands and is one of the most famous seaside and health resorts at the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. The wide and sandy shore invites the visitor to take a walk or to go swimming. The shore slowly drops towards the sea which makes the place a perfect one for children and non-swimmers.

Swinemunde is very close to the German part of the island and therefore ideal for trips along the seashore to Zinnowitz, another famous seaside resort, as well as to the Hinterland and the Stettin Lagoon. During the summer months pleasure boats commute from Swinemunde to the called "Three-Emporers-Resorts" Bansin, Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf as well as to the seaside resort Misdroy.

Swinemunde is the ideal starting point for trips to Denmark and Sweden. Even in the autumn and in the winter Swinemunde offers its guests opportunities to find repose and to relax.
